The structural fabrication department has the ability to complete projects ranging from small to large. The fabrication
shop is equipped with the latest in CNC fabrication equipment. In addition, we fabricate our own miscellaneous metals
including stairs, handrail and ladders at our facility in Rapid City, South Dakota. Our shop is certified by the American
Institute of Steel Construction. The rebar fabricating division has the latest in integrated detailing, tagging, bundling and
quality control equipment to assure efficient and accurate work.
Dakota Steel also serves as a steel service center providing steel products including corrugated culverts, concrete
and masonry accessories, brick and windows. We distribute our product out of our locations in Rapid City, South Dakota
and Gillette, Wyoming.
Rommesmo Companies acquired Dakota Steel & Supply in 2007 from Pete Lien & Sons, founded in 1953.
